This sliding window lock is constructed of extruded aluminum with a non-marring vinyl insert and a steel thumbscrew and it comes in a milled aluminum finish. The design of this lock is manufactured to fit on older style, metal framed windows - usually of single pane glass. These locks will not work with modern vinyl windows, as the vinyl inserts have only a narrow 1/4 in opening. For vinyl windows consider using Prime-Line parts U-9809 or U-10547. Once the lock has been mounted and hand-tightened, finish by tightening thumbscrew with pliers to securely lock windows in closed or ventilating positions. These locks are easy-to-install and are used by many to increase the security of their home.

The H 3966 is a stone die-cast crank handle that fits older Andersen casement operators. The 3/8 in bore fits Andersen 3/8 in spindles and is held firmly in place with the supplied set screw. This tee handle is stone in color. The Tee design is often used to replace the normal crank handle when it interferes with window blinds.

The H 4106 is a die-cast crank handle used on Andersen casement operators. It has a white finish and the Andersen 3/8 in spindle. The unique large bell-shaped base fits the Andersen plastic cover shape.

The three different keepers allow for most mounting applications whether it be a swing-in or swing-out casement window. Installation screws are included.
